The Moon, She Cradles - Hunter’s Moon Edition
Once a month, she rocks you home.
For our October cradle, she gives you rest with the waxing Hunter’s Moon as you name what you leave behind and what you will carry forward.
The moon has never missed a month. Whatever you carried, however long the carrying, she returns, and once a month this studio returns with her. The Moon, She Cradles is a restorative evening that is never the same twice. One month she pours sound over you, poured by a guest practitioner's bowls. Another, she holds you in the warm and the dark: stillness, candlelight, deep heat. Another, she rocks you slow. And some months, she has something to tell you, and we follow a guided descent to hear it. I plan each gathering by listening to what the season and the energy ask for, and each month's form is announced only to the women on our email list, under that month's moon.
What never changes: you arrive carrying a month, and you leave without it. For her first evening, she rises with the waxing Hunter's Moon, the old gathering moon, when women brought in what would carry them through winter. This month, she gathers you in. A candlelit evening of guided somatic rest in the cottage parlor, with one gentle harvest ritual: naming what you'll carry into the dark season, and what you're ready to leave in the field. You'll be held, warmed, and sent home softer.
Third Mondays, 6:30 to 8:00pm. October 19, November 16, and December 21, the winter solstice.
